Creamy White Frosting
To me, this tastes just like the Frosting the bakery uses on its cakes!
Decorating Frosting
This makes a very white frosting, so when you get a true color. I wouldn't use it to frost a cake--I'd use buttercream frosting for that.
Fluffy White Frosting
This is the recipe Mom always used on angelfood cakes. The recipe above is for a large batch. The amounts for a small batch (I don't know why you'd ever want a small batch, though) are as follows: 3/4 cup sugar; 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar; 1/4 cup water
Glaze (Angel Food Cake)
Flavor can be easily changed: Substitute 2 tablespoons rum for vanilla (my favorite); cherry juice for fruit and extract; orange juice; for chocolate, substitute 2 tablespoons cocoa for chocolate, stir in 2 ounces melted unsweetened chocolate (cooled) with the sugar.
Hot Fudge
This can be used as an ice cream topping, dip (fondue), or thinned down a bit and drizzled over just about anything. I like to add a little rum and drizzle over sliced oranges and Christmas!

Can use for raspberries and peaches, also!
Mandarin Orange Cake
Meringue

Main Dishes
Apple-Cranberry Casserole
I sprinkle the fruit lightly with cinnamon. For apple crisp only—I use 1 cup sugar to 6 cups apples.
Baked Beef Stew
This is a great dish to come home to. I like to throw it together before I leave for work (prepare the veggies the night before and put them in bags) then I just dump everything out into my crock-pot or a wonderful meal. This is really good and maybe add sour bread for a wonderful meal. This is really good warmed up the next day too.
Baked Pork Tenderloins
Use up to 1 cup (or more) of celery and carrots. This is great for company or when you want to make something special for your family.
Baked Tuna Chow Mein

These take forever, but they're worth the trouble. This recipe is 1/2 of the original one. Jane said her Gramma used to make them on a wood stove—must have taken her a whole day!

You DO need to use RAW Spanish peanuts. The candy tastes burned if you use nuts that have already been roasted (I found this out the hard way). Aunt Barb
